The residence is located in the medieval historical center of Lucca, Via Del Gallo, and nicknamed “Antiques Street” because of the many important antique shops.

Just a few meters away is the famous Duomo and Piazza San Martino, and from some of the windows of the residence you can see the ancient church of S. Giovanni, place of interest for archaeologists experts; location for events and concerts in honor of the famous composer Giacomo Puccini.

Moving around a little you will find: the Cattedrale museum, la Torre Guinigi, the famous Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, the Museo della Zecca, L’Orologio Delle Ore and many other historical sites of Lucca.

Leaving the Antica Residenza Del Gallo, you will find yourself immediately in the historic commercial center, with old and fancy shops where you can spend a pleasant shopping time.
But if you want a relaxing walk or to bike, you can go on the historic walls of Lucca (200 m from the Residence-Hotel), entirely pedestrian, with its 4 km of roads lined with trees.
